The Twilight Saga : Eclipse

WATCH ITS TRAILER

The third chapter in the Twilight is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob—knowing that her decision has the potential to struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death.

First, “Eclipse” in almost every scene relates to love triangle. Even scenes of the battle still have a connection between love triangles. This is also a kind of slow movie because of too many dramatic scenes which was pretty boring. Even though they had a brutal killing villain, tension wasn’t even there as drama overthrew it on the screen. There were some laughable moments, too, they were just not so funny moments but still can entertain you.

The action scenes were not satisfying. It was short and a kind of brutal. Speaking of brutal, I say “Eclipse” have the deadliest, most brutal scenes in “The Twilight Saga” movie. The contributing factor to this movie is that it has many flashbacks or memories of the characters that also skip the fighting scenes of it. The flashbacks were too long that it made me sleepy when I watched it. I’m kind of shocked with the vampires in this movie. They look like crystals or something as there were scenes showing hands or heads decapitated and they look like shiny crystals.

Shrek Forever After

                                                               WATCH ITS TRAILER

After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving in-laws’ kingdom, what’s an ogre to do? Well, if you’re Shrek, you suddenly wind up a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks. What’s happened to this ogre’s roar? Longing for the days when he felt like a “real ogre,” Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it’s up to Shrek to undo all he’s done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love.

My question is, “Does ‘Forever After’ live up to the bar set by the previous installments?” I think so, this movie contains a lot of moral to be learned and I’m sure you will be inspired of. The challenging part of the story for me is when the story finds Shrek in an “It’s a Wonderful Life”- style alternate reality in which he was never born, and thus has no friends or family, no enduring connections, and even source of happiness.

One of the nicest surprises of ‘Forever After’ is the near perfect marriage it achieves between the animation artistry (I like it so much!). In my experience in watching this movie, I would say that “Shrek Forever After” is big-hearted and peppered with juicy throwaway bits: I liked the way the Gingerbread Man had to turn around one of the Three Blind Mice, who was cheering in the wrong direction, or the line by the ogre cook about the need for a chimichanga stand on the battlefield, because everyone’s going to be hungry after waging war. ‘Shrek Forever After’ isn’t essential, but it’s breezy and likable and doesn’t overstay its welcome.

Alvin and the Chipmunks (The Squeakquel)

WATCH ITS TRAILER

Pop sensations Alvin, Simon and Theodore end up in the care of Dave Seville’s twenty something nephew Toby. The boys must put aside music superstardom to return to school, and are tasked with saving the schools program by winning the $25,000 prize in the battle of the bands. But the chipmunks unexpectedly meet their match in three female singing chipmunks known as the Chipettes – Brittany, Eleanor and Jeanette.

This movie hits not only for the children but also for the adults and teenagers. Aside from its moral, it entertains the viewers a lot. Like for me, its special part is that when the Chipettes starts to sing and dance the song of Beyonce Knowles, the “Single Ladies” where it caught my whole attention and as I started to get along, I also sing and follow the beat of the song. They were really cute on that part and it makes me giggle whenever I heard them (the Chipmunks and the Chipettes) singing a song because of their little voices. A not so dramatic part for me is that when Theodore end up alone because of his two brothers eagerly fighting not expected that Theodore was listening to them… haist!

I really like cartoons, specially this one! I hope that it has a part 3.
